A recent email from Mike Filsaime slammed Joomla - and then went on to heavily promote "Vtribes"... (something he no doubt owns).

Has anyone had experience with VTribes?

DAve

Jeff Johnson says: I use joomla and vtribes. Mike is now a part owner of vtribes and I believe he will make it better than ever... knowing Mike.

Joomla is free and you are on your own when using it. vtibes has support and is geared more specifically towards running a paid membership site.

Thank you so much for the heads uo about source forge. These older games are ones I can actually ploay and enjoy. Maybe because I am an "older person" (63).

The newer games are very hard for me, I just can't seem to get started on them.

Really really greatful!!

Awesome. Thanks for the sourceforge tip. Brilliant.

A cool free resource I found (and use) that's made by the camtasia guys at techsmith is called "jing project" (http://jingproject.com).

It works on macs :-) and allows you to record screen shot video or static images and "share" them...

Nice.
